Based on an in-depth analysis of two ancient Egyptian mummies, an Egyptian researcher on an international research team discovered a series of clues that may have solved a 3,000-year-old mystery murder. According to the team report, the possible complicity of Pharaoh Ramses III murdered the attempted coup in about 1155 BC and found it in an ancient script. "This study provides a historical description of the authenticity of the clues surrounding the harem conspiracy of Ramesses III and finally revealed its tragic ending," the researchers wrote in their report. In their investigation, the scientists conducted a detailed examination of the two mummy's forms to evaluate the preserved specimens and to record any signs of injury after injury or death. Their analysis is based on information collected using computed tomography (CT) scans and anthropological and forensic analysis.
Egyptian historians removed the mummified parts of bone specimens and transferred them to sterile test tubes. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo, and the second laboratory at Cairo University, then conducted genetic analyses in the laboratory to investigate possible kinship relations between Ramesses III and restoration of the next pharaoh mummies.
The CT analysis of Ramesses III showed extensive and deep wounds in the mummy's throat. Scientists speculate that this is a piece of sharpness and it is possible to die immediately.
