At present, Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States and other countries have built fast reactors. A 600,000 kilowatt commercial fast reactor in Russia has been in operation for 26 years.
The construction of fast reactors has emboldened the efforts of several generations of new China. As early as the late 1960s, Premier Zhou Enlai personally approved the use of 50 kilograms of enriched uranium for fast reactor zero power construction.
