Equipment R & D Technology The locomotive traction motor has a pinion mounted on the shaft extension. The inspection of the traction motor and the inspection of the pinion need to disassemble the pinion. Therefore, the pinion gear has a higher disassembly frequency and a larger workload. Before the hydraulic disassembly device, I basically relied on manual removal of the pinion. When disassembling, the surface of the pinion is heated by the intermediate frequency induction power supply; at the same time, a certain lithium-based grease is added to the oil injection hole extending from the motor shaft, and the tape is wound on an M20 bolt and screwed into the oil filling hole filled with lithium grease. Tightening the bolts relies on manual pressurization of the lithium-based grease to achieve a certain expansion pressure, and finally removes and washes the pinion gear mounted on the tapered surface of the motor shaft. However, in the manner of manually disassembling the pinion, the grease often leaks and does not reach the required expansion pressure, or the pinion gear is too tightly coupled with the shaft extension and the manpower is insufficient, or the pinion heating excessively causes the surface to be annealed.
The common medium frequency induction heating combined with the manual disassembly process is unreliable, wastes a lot of manpower and time, and has poor reliability and low efficiency. Through research and analysis, I designed and manufactured a new type of motor pinion hydraulic disassembly device, which greatly improved the success rate of motor pinion disassembly, greatly reduced labor intensity and significantly shortened working time. The device starts the intermediate frequency induction heating power supply to heat the surface of the pinion gear according to the pre-existing process parameters in the PLC controller; meanwhile, after the shaft head connecting pipe thread and the motor shaft extension oil hole are tightly sealed, the hydraulic oil is pressurized by the oil pump 1 to form a high pressure. Through the shaft head connecting pipe thread and oil injection hole into the motor shaft extending annular oil groove and expanding, pushing the pinion gear to slide along the motor shaft extending taper surface, thereby disassembling the pinion gear. The hydraulic oil pressurized by the hydraulic oil pump can generate pressures of up to 30 MPa, far exceeding the pressure that can be achieved by the original manpower, so it is easy to disassemble the pinion gears with various tolerances.
