The diesel generator set must be installed safely before the load can be operated. For example, the installation of the diesel generator set intake and exhaust system should be treated scientifically. First, the intake system

In order to ensure sufficient fresh air for the operation of the diesel generator set, the intake of the diesel engine should be placed where the air circulates. The diesel engine intake pipe of the diesel generator set should avoid using long pipes as much as possible, and reduce the number of elbows, or adopt a large arc transition; the inner diameter of the intake pipe should not be less than 200mm, the inner wall of the pipe should be smooth and free of welding slag particles, and dust should be avoided during installation. The debris enters the intake pipe, and at the same time, it must ensure that the connection line between the air filter and the diesel turbocharger is well sealed, and there must be no gaps or leakage.

It is recommended to use the oblique upper air inlet method near the control panel side of the diesel generator set, and add louver and metal protective mesh curtain to avoid foreign matter entering and ensure normal air convection. In order to prevent the return of hot air and make the air in the equipment room as direct as possible, the air inlet should be protected to prevent rain and other foreign matter from entering.

In order to ensure the ventilation of the engine room, the net area of ​​the air inlet of the machine room is not less than 1.5 times the effective area of ​​the radiator core of the diesel generator set . If the air inlet area is too small, it must be operated correctly.

Second, the exhaust system

It should be ensured that the net area of ​​the exhaust vent is not less than 1.25 times the effective area of ​​the radiator core , and the center position of the exhaust vent should be as close as possible to the center position of the radiator core of the unit. The aspect ratio of the vent is also as close as possible to the radiator. The core has the same aspect ratio. In order to prevent hot air backflow and mechanical vibration from transmitting outward, balloon training recommends adding an elastic damping horn type air guiding groove between the radiator and the exhaust vent.

The external exhaust pipe is made of steel pipe. It must be connected flexibly with the unit diesel turbocharger. The outer diameter of the external intake pipe should be larger than the expansion joint. The external exhaust pipe should be firmly fixed. No vibration is allowed. The weight should not be applied to the diesel expansion pipe. Upper; expansion joints are not allowed to eliminate misalignment between tubes.

The exhaust system should try to reduce the number of elbows and shorten the total length of the exhaust pipe. Otherwise, the exhaust pipe pressure of the unit will increase, which will cause excessive power loss, affecting the normal operation of the unit and reducing power generation. The normal service life of the unit.

The exhaust pipe diameter specified by the diesel generator set is generally based on the total length of the exhaust pipe of 6m and the installation of at most one elbow and one muffler. When the exhaust system is actually installed, it has exceeded all the specified lengths and the number of elbows. The exhaust pipe diameter should be increased as appropriate, depending on the total length of the exhaust pipe and the number of elbows.
