Although the mass production of Daimler's Mercedes -Benz future truck 2025 has not yet been put on the agenda, the traditional Mercedes-Benz large trucks have begun semi-autonomous driving. Earlier, the German government approved Daimler's test on the country's Autobahn8 road. Mercedes-Benz took the lead in testing a Mercedes Actros tractor with a "HighwayPilot" semi-autonomous driving system.

It is reported that HighwayPilot includes a front radar, a pair of cameras and an adaptive cruise control system. And it has traveled about 20,000 kilometers on the test roads in Germany and the United States. The system enables Actros to drive on the road itself. After the system is started, the driver only has to play the role of monitoring.
