The new DynActiveTM Dynamic Shift feature selects the most efficient shift points from a myriad of combinations based on customer vehicle configuration, engine fuel map, and vehicle and operating environment parameters through an innovative shift program algorithm. At the same time, the upgraded automatic parking neutral function reduces engine load during parking and when the vehicle is taxiing at low speed, further saving fuel.

In addition, the enhanced acceleration rate management feature automatically controls engine torque through five levels of control to adjust for intense driving behavior. The latest upgrade to this feature in the FuelSense® 2.0 Max fuel economy technology also has the option to limit the vehicle acceleration rate to a preset rate range for more precise control.

In addition to being standard on all new vehicle chassis, the technology can be retrofitted to existing vehicle models via Dennis Eagle or an Allison-authorized service network.
