Vertical machining center classification and characteristics

There are three classification standards for vertical machining center, which can be divided into hard rails and wire rails according to the form of each axis guide. The hard rail is suitable for heavy cutting, and the track motion is more sensitive.

The machining center can be divided into a low speed type and a high speed type depending on the speed. The low-speed spindle speed is 6000-15000 rpm, and the high-speed spindle speed is 18,000 rpm or more.

According to the structure (bed structure) is divided into C-type and gantry vertical machining center.
