Vietnam rubber industry enters development "Highway"

Vietnam is the world’s fourth-largest rubber exporter. In 2009, it exported 680,000 tons of rubber, with an amount exceeding US$1.2 billion. In recent years, Vietnam's rubber industry has grown rapidly. Rubber production, rubber production and export volume have reached new highs. Every year, more than 60% of natural rubber is exported to China. The full launch of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area on January 1 this year opened a new page for the rubber industry in Vietnam and China. According to the forecast of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Vietnam's rubber exports will exceed US$1.3 billion in 2010. Vietnam's rubber industry is emerging from the future, attracting the eyes of the world.
The development of the rubber industry entered the highway. The rubber plantation in Vietnam began in 1923. By the 1970s, the rubber plantation area was only 700 square kilometers and the output was only 40,000 tons. In the 21st century, Vietnam's rubber planting area rapidly expanded. In 2000, Vietnam's rubber planting area was 4120 square kilometers, and in 2009 it expanded to 6500 square kilometers, with an average annual growth rate of nearly 5%. In 2009, the newly planted area was nearly 370 square kilometers. Meter.
Vietnam rubber planting areas are mainly concentrated in the southeast and central plateau regions. Among them, the rubber planting area in Dong Nai and Xiao He provinces is the largest, followed by Xining, Dole, Guangping, and Guangzhi provinces. Nowadays, rubber has become Vietnam's most important economic crop. In addition to expanding the scale of planting, Vietnam also attaches great importance to the renewal of the rubber plantation. It also actively invests in the rubber planting in countries such as Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar. At present, Vietnam cooperates in planting 300 square kilometers of rubber in Laos and 20 square kilometers of rubber in Cambodia.
In order to promote the development of the rubber industry, Vietnam officially established the Rubber Association in 2004. The association is headed by Vietnam Rubber Corporation, and 17 production units and processing companies participate in the association. Its main functions are to maintain the interests of the rubber industry, formulate the Vietnam rubber import and export plan, and establish relations with domestic and foreign rubber businesses. The Vietnam Rubber Association believes that due to the lack of rubber plantation land available for reclaiming in Vietnam and the limited scale and potential for development, it is difficult for Vietnam's rubber industry to develop beyond Thailand and Indonesia.
The export is mainly for the Chinese market. For a long time, Vietnam's rubber processing capacity is very poor, and the processing level is low. Therefore, rubber exports from Vietnam are mainly based on rubber. In addition, due to the low level of domestic rubber consumption in Vietnam, 80% of its production is exported to foreign countries. Rubber products are sold to more than 40 countries and regions in the world, including Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, North America, China, and Russia. Rubber products are important foreign exchange earning commodities for Vietnam. The export products mainly include standard rubber, concentrated latex, smoke tablet rubber and rayon rubber. Since 2004, under the guidance of the Vietnamese government authorities, rubber exporters in Vietnam have followed three principles: increasing rubber production, adjusting export prices, and increasing the volume of inter-governmental trade. Benefiting from these principles, the export volume of the rubber industry has increased by leaps and bounds. According to the statistics provided by the Statistics Bureau of Vietnam, Vietnam exported 550,000 tons of rubber in 2005, 660,000 tons in 2006, and 720,000 tons in 2007. In 2008, due to the financial crisis, the export volume decreased by a certain amount to 644,000. t; In 2009, Vietnam's rubber increased by 7% to 680,000 tons.
At present, China's mainland is Vietnam's largest rubber export market, and most rubber products are exported to China through the Mang Street port. With the rapid development of the Chinese economy and the rapid development of the automobile manufacturing industry, Vietnam’s rubber output to China will continue to grow. In order to increase the export of rubber to China and deeper into the Chinese market, the Vietnamese government has adopted a series of incentives: Encourage rubber companies such as Vietnam Rubber Corporation to establish long-term cooperative relationships with Chinese rubber consumer companies, especially with Chinese auto tire manufacturers; In addition to establishing offices in Nanning and Shanghai, Guangxi, Vietnam Rubber Corporation is also encouraged to set up offices in China's economically developed cities such as Guangdong and Zhejiang; to organize rubber companies in Vietnam to visit China and strengthen cooperation with traditional large industrial areas such as northeast and northwest China. Trade activities; gradually reduce border trade transactions and steadily expand normal trade; attract Chinese enterprises to invest in Vietnam, grow rubber, and export them to China after processing; carry out rubber deep processing to increase the added value of rubber exports.
The imminent increase in processing capacity The Vietnamese government is encouraging rubber producers to expand the scale of the rubber plantation and strive to expand the rubber plantation area to 7,000 square kilometers by 2010 and increase the dry rubber output to 520,000 tons. Among them, the planting area in the southeastern region has expanded to 3,000 square kilometers, the central area has expanded to 3,300 square kilometers, the central and southern coastal areas have also grown to 2.8 million square kilometers, and the central and northern coastal areas have grown to 4.2 million square kilometers. Among them, 2,500 to 3,000 square kilometers will belong to state-owned companies, 3,500 square kilometers for private or small rubber farmers, and the remaining 500 to 1,000 square kilometers for other related companies to invest.
In addition, the government plans to make natural rubber production 1 million tons and rubber tree timber production 1 million to 2 million cubic meters between 2015 and 2020. The development of the rubber processing industry is also receiving more and more attention. At present, a number of natural rubber processing plants are being built in the central plateau region and the southeastern region in order to strengthen the capital investment in rubber product processing and construction, reduce the export of rubber raw materials, and increase the added value of export products. . The government plans to increase the domestic market demand to about 30% of total production by 2010.

Automobile Plastic Parts

During this initial phase, Design Engineers, Tooling Engineers, Materials Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Lab Technicians work together to determine product specifications, tooling component capabilities, tooling materials, operating limitations, and any required product enhancements and improvements. The team specifically looked for any potential issues with part geometry or tolerances that could result in poor steel condition or require special tool features such as lifters, slides and threading/unthreading. The physical and chemical properties of the selected resins are also evaluated in order to select suitable mold steels and review mold cooling. In addition to determining the proper vent location, a mold flow evaluation is performed to determine the optimal gate type and gate location.

The manufacturability review includes the validation of standard plastic design practices and the incorporation of tooling details to create the most robust design possible. Tool specifications and tool provenance are finalized and purchased component sources are qualified. A comprehensive Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) was also completed.
