·Electric bus wireless charging start demonstration operation

Faced with many bottlenecks in the field of infrastructure for new energy vehicles, companies are looking for different solutions.
On February 10th, the “Electric Vehicle Wireless Charging Technology Seminar” led by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was held in Beijing, attracting many auto companies from China.
It is understood that the current bus system in Xiangfan and other cities has been put into operation of wireless charging bus, the partner is ZTE. In October last year, Yutong Bus also released the "Solid Electric Bus Overall Solution". This year, a number of buses using wireless charging will be put into operation.
Wireless charging bus has been put into operation The so-called wireless charging technology refers to the use of electromagnetic wave sensing principle, through the non-wire connection to transfer electrical energy.
Previously, in Japan and Europe, the wireless charging model was once considered a small-scale demonstration operation for sustainable charging solutions for electric vehicles. Since 2013, automobile manufacturers such as BMW, Tesla and Nissan have announced the wireless charging technology and product planning of automobiles. But at home, this model has not surfaced.
Until the middle of last year, ZTE, the domestic telecom operator, pushed this charging technology model into the eyes of people. According to media reports, Chengdu has a community bus stop that has been converted into a wireless charging station. The community bus stops at the top of the sensor to wirelessly charge. After 8 minutes of charging, the bus can support the bus on the operating route for about 6 kilometers.
It is also known that the current public transportation system in Xiangfan and other cities has been put into operation of wireless charging bus, and the partner is also ZTE.
In addition, during the year, 20 Yutong 12-meter pure electric buses will be put into operation on the Zhengzhou BRT (BRT) line, and the wireless charging mode will also be adopted.
On February 5, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the “Progress of Support Policies for New Energy Vehicles Promotion and Application Demonstration Cities (Groups)”. According to statistics, as of December 31, 2014, 33 cities (groups) have introduced facilities to encourage new energy vehicles. The infrastructure of the construction, and the relevant supporting policies have not been issued in six cities (groups) of Changchun, Harbin, Shenyang, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Inner Mongolia.
"At present, in the industry, wireless charging technology is also regarded as a high-tech technology for electric vehicles, not only because the research and development costs are relatively high, but the current promotion scope is small and it is difficult to dilute the cost, but this charging method is in the customer's experience. It will be better than the wired charging mode." A related person in Yutong Bus told the reporter of "Daily Economic News".
According to reports, the current domestic wireless electric vehicle is equipped with a wireless charging single module with a power of 30kW, which can be added as needed. "The current charging power conversion module of Yutong Vehicle is 60kW, which is a leading technology in China." The relevant person in charge of the above Yutong Bus told the reporter.
The scope of application is small and difficult to share. In July 2014, the General Office of the State Council issued the “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles”, clearly stating that the use of vehicles in the public service sector as a breakthrough for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles and the expansion of procurement of public institutions The scale of new energy vehicles.
Subsequently, supercapacitor pure electric vehicles, dual-source trackless electric vehicles and other products have been launched by major auto manufacturers, suitable for the public transport sector. Among them, dual-source trackless electric vehicles need to load infrastructure such as charging wires, which have higher requirements for infrastructure construction, and are also considered by some city managers to affect the beauty of the city. Therefore, the electric buses of these different technical routes are promoted in various cities. The speed is different.
"At present, there is no technical barrier for wireless charging, but from the perspective of cost, the cost of technology investment is still high due to the small application range. In addition, the conversion efficiency of wireless charging is low." The relevant person in charge of the above Yutong Bus told each Japanese Economic News reporter. However, he believes that the bus is fixed in fixed lines, has a fixed docking place, and does not require people to operate the plug and recharge gun. These features are very suitable for bus system operation.
In addition, from the perspective of business model, Yutong plans to cooperate with ZTE and bus operators to build basic charging facilities. In October last year, Yutong Bus released the “Comprehensive Solution for Pure Electric Bus”, and introduced charging, power-changing and multi-site cooperation modes in charging facilities, and customized services according to the company's own situation and actual needs.
“If the three parties involved in the cooperation are involved in infrastructure investment, the charging service fee charged in future operations will be divided according to the investment ratio.” According to the relevant person in charge of Yutong Bus, “we want to collect vehicle data through demonstration operation. In order to optimize the ratio of the number of vehicle batteries, this can reduce the cost of car purchase according to the actual operational needs of customers."
According to relevant statistics, in 2014, the number of Yutong pure electric vehicles was 1,487, ranking first in the industry and the market share reached 21.8%. In addition, Nanjing Dongyu, Suzhou Jinlong and BYD and other auto manufacturers ranked second to fourth, with 981 vehicles, 864 vehicles and 672 vehicles.
