Continental's Tires USA Inc. today announced that it has launched two winter tires in order to expand its product lineup. The two new products introduced by the Horse brand are WinterContactSI and General Grabber Arctic LT. The former can be adapted to passenger cars, minivans and multi-purpose vehicles, while the latter is the company's first light pickup winter tire. The Continental Group stated in its statement that WinterContactSI will replace the current SuperWide UltraWage Contact DWS of the horse brand, and will start production at the Ma Brand European plant. The General Grabber Arctic LT was built specifically for pick-up trucks and will be produced at the U.S.-owned U.S. plant and will be launched in April this year. U.S. and Canadian dealers have recently tested the two tires on snow roads in the United States. The tests included snow braking, acceleration, and lateral handling. Chrome Plating Production Line
Metal electroplating line is widely used in aircraft and auto parts, machinery parts, metal, hardware processing industries, including cooper plating, silver plating, zinc plating, nickel plating, gold plating, chrom plating, anodizing, electrophoresis production line, etc.
Chrome plating refers to the act of plating chromium as a plating layer on other metals. Chrome Plating Production Line,Chrome Plating Line,Chrome Electroplating Line,Hard Chrome Plating Line Wuxi Xingyi Intelligent Environment Protection Equipment Co.,Ltd. , https://www.xingyimachinery.com
Chromium is a kind of silver-white metal with a bluish tint. Metal chromium is easily passivated in the air, and a very thin passivation film is formed on the surface, thus showing the properties of precious metals.
The chromium-plated layer has a very high hardness, and its hardness can vary within a wide range of 400-1200HV according to the composition of the plating solution and process conditions. The chromium-plated layer has good heat resistance. When heated below 500℃, there is no obvious change in gloss and hardness. The temperature above 500℃ starts to oxidize and discolor, and the hardness starts to decrease when the temperature exceeds 700℃. The friction coefficient of the chrome layer is small, especially the dry friction coefficient, which is the lowest among all metals. Therefore, the chrome-plated layer has good wear resistance.
