Compared with the National Five Oil Products, the national gas/diesel focus has reduced the content of olefins, aromatic hydrocarbons, benzene, etc. of motor gasoline; it has reduced the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the vehicle diesel fuel index, and increased the quantitative indicator requirements of the total pollutant content; The indicators fully meet the EU standards for vehicle oil products at this stage, and individual indicators even exceed EU standards. The data shows that compared with the National Standard Five-Wall/Diesel Fuel, the national six oil products reduced carbon monoxide emissions by 50%, total hydrocarbons and non-methane hydrocarbons emission limits by 50%, and nitrogen oxide emissions by 42%.

In addition, it has been learned that in order to control pollution, some cities and regions have taken the lead in implementing the National Sixth-Standard Vehicle Gas/Diesel Engine, or have plans to supply the National Six Oil Products in advance. For example, Beijing has fully used Jingliu oil, which is more stringent than Guoliu, since March of last year; since last October, “2+26” cities in Beijing, Tianjin, and surrounding areas have banned sales of vehicles under the national standard of six.
