Using the SPAD502 chlorophyll meter to measure the chlorophyll content of nearly one hundred sesame seeds, the relationship between chlorophyll content and yield was analyzed. It was found through analysis and comparison that the chlorophyll content was positively correlated with the yield per plant, but it was not significant. , indicating that increasing the chlorophyll content has a certain direct effect on the yield increase; the chlorophyll content is significantly or extremely significantly positively correlated with plant height, fruit stem axis length and 1000-grain weight in the yield component factors, indicating that increasing the chlorophyll content is mainly through increasing the plant height. The length of the stem of the main stem and the indirect effect of increasing the weight of one thousand grains are used to increase the yield. In the further analysis and understanding of the sesame seeds that have been found to have a relatively high chlorophyll content during the planting process, it is very helpful for increasing sesame yield.
Chlorophyll meter was used to analyze the chlorophyll content of sesame at different stages.
