The Ulstein family donated the rescue boat

Recently, shipbuilder and designer Ulstein announced a donation of $3.4 million to build a high-speed search rescue boat (SAR). The 20-meter-long SAR will be completed in 2015 and will be named after Ulstein's late chairman and CEO "RS Idar Ulstein".
Norwegian Maritime Rescue Secretary-General Rikke Lind said that Ulstein is very generous and is one of the huge donations in Norwegian history. He is passionate and supports Norwegian maritime rescue and fulfills his great mission. The ship will help and save more seas along the Norwegian coast. People who have difficulties in their lives.
The key point of the ship's design is not the bollard pull, but the speed of the ship. The "RS Idar Ulstein" has a design speed of up to 38 knots. However, the bollard pull is 9 tons. When the large ship loses power, it can expand the scope of search and rescue. The vessel will also be equipped with a modern navigation (product library supply) system essential to the rescue boat.
