The Hengnan gold mine in southern Shaanxi adopts a single 5c600m×600mm permanent magnet single-roller dry sorter with a field strength of 87.58kA/m. From the tailings, iron concentrates with a grade of 65%-68% can be sorted. The rate is up to 31.2%, and the annual production of iron concentrate is 1100t, and 1.5309kg of gold is recovered from the shaker to create a production value of nearly 300,000 yuan.
According to the nature of tailings, Hanyin Gold Mine selected a fine iron ore concentrate from tailings with a wet magnetic separator with a field strength of 135.35 kA/m. The iron concentrate grade is 65%. Since August 1992, the annual average production of iron concentrates is 1,700 tons, with an annual output value of 500,000 yuan. The mine also uses a screening-roasting-magnetic separation-shaker re-election process. According to preliminary estimates, it can produce 360t of ilmenite, 468t of garnet and 216t of magnetite that was not selected when iron was selected. Recycling 1.218kg of fine gold chips, the total output value can reach 1.7 million yuan.
The Changchun Institute of Geology has adopted a re-election-magnetic separation-magnetron static separation process for the characteristics of fine-grained gold in the tailings of selected plants. The total recovery rate of gold is over 85%, especially for magnetic fluid gold. The selection machine has a good effect on the recovery of fine grain gold.
