Storm hits Changshou, Chongqing, a chicken farm collapsed and buried thousands of chickens

Chongqing, August 1st Chongqing Changshou District was hit by a severe storm on the evening of July 31. A chicken farm was blown by the wind and more than 12,000 chickens were buried. On August 1, fire officers and soldiers rescued 11,000 chickens from the rubble.

In the evening of July 31st, storms raided Changshou District, Chongqing, which was particularly devastated by the hurricane in the new village of Xinshi Town. The roofs of many houses in the village were uplifted by winds, and the rough-edged trees were blown up. More than 300 square meters of the factory floor of the chicken farm collapsed, more than a dozen rows of chicken cages were buried under the collapsed rubble, and more than 12,000 chickens were buried.

At 9:30 that evening, more than 50 fire officers and soldiers from Chongqing's Changshou District rushed to Xintong Village to help the affected villagers transfer their home supplies. In the face of a chicken farm that suffered heavy losses, a group of fire officers and soldiers used demolition tools such as chainless chainsaws and rebar breakers to demolish the collapsed steel cages. The other group of firemen and nearby residents will survive as chickens. Move to safety zone.

The rescue work continued until the morning of August 1. Fire officers and soldiers rescued more than 11,000 chickens from the rubble and more than 1,000 chickens were killed.
