Beginning in June this year, the China Automobile Center began to set up and test the CRS product evaluation procedures for child restraint systems. The evaluation process is divided into two categories: convenient performance evaluation and collision safety performance evaluation. The evaluation score is 40 points, of which the collision safety performance test score is 32 points, and the convenient performance evaluation is 8 points. Among them, the child safety seat test results are higher than 36 into "excellent", 30-36 is divided into "good", 20-30 is divided into "general", and 20 points or less is "not recommended", corresponding to the whole vehicle C- Five stars, four stars, three stars and two stars evaluated by NCAP.
The relevant person in charge of the China Automobile Center told the reporter that consumers are not recommended for the "not recommended" level of child safety seats. Zhao Hang said that the current child safety seat market is mixed. The reasons for the low quality of the products include the lack of deep understanding of the technical level and safety requirements of some enterprises; the low barriers to entry of products, the lack of market normativeness, and insufficient supervision of regulations and implementation, 3C certification has just begun, and has not yet formed well.
